My Story
Background:
My music background was heavily influenced by my parents and their taste for 90s rave culture as well as growing up with Pop, Garage and Drum & Bass. I got my dad to download the soundtrack to Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, American Wasteland, Burnout 3 and Burnout Revenge which I listened to endlessly on repeat as well.
How It Started:
I got into music production from listening to a song from a new producer on YouTube and leaving a comment saying how much I loved it asking how they made it. That comment got me into a Skype group featuring a bunch of other creative beginner producers, DJs, video editors and graphic designers. From there I downloaded FL Studio and NI Massive and watched a bunch of YouTube tutorials on music production and went from there.
DJing came later when I tried DJay for iPad around 2012. I messed about with some dubstep songs me and my friends liked. Mainly Knife Party, Flux Pavilion, Skrillex and Nero and that was the start for my love of DJing. When I went to Uni in 2017, I saw my local club and immediately bought my first DJ controller and switched to Serato to try and get myself on that stage. I eventually did after years of effort and loved every second of it.
My Influences:
With my parents listening to a lot of Prodigy and Pendulum and my friends introducing me to Drum & Bass I naturally started out with making DnB, mainly Dancefloor and Liquid since it was easier for me starting out.
Later I was introduced to Future House and Bass House. I instantly fell in love with the melodic basses and since have always loved house music too. I now listen to and am inspired by a lot of UKG and Bassline primarily from Cru Cast, Deeprot and Four40.
Achievements:
Since my time actively releasing content, I have managed to get a mix released on Deep & Soulful Radio. (Link Here)
Besides that, I’ve had several gigs in High Wycombe DJing but it’s still early days and I have a lot to offer!
Goals:
My main goal is purely just to create a platform in which listeners can find and enjoy new music as well as enjoy the music they already love. If I am able to do it for a living then that's a huge bonus!
I also would love to create content for other up-and-coming Artists, Producers and DJs. Sample packs, Tutorial videos, Plugin/Hardware reviews are already on my radar for consideration alongside releasing music, DJ mixes ect.
